Hi, I'm Colin.

I connect people to ideas through events, public programs, and design platforms. I do much of this at Works Progress, an experience design collective I co-founded in 2009. My partner, Shanai, and I write about the work we do at We Work Here. Please say hello at "colin.kloecker at gmail dot com" and also on Facebook, Flickr, or Twitter. I'd love to hear from you.

Salon Saloon: The Baseball Show is live in less then 5 hours.

Above, singer/songwriter Nikki Schultz previews a haunting cover of CCR’s “Centerfield” at rehearsal yesterday morning. Goosebumps y’all. Also in the lineup: Michael “Art Happy Hour” Fallon on baseball and aesthetics, artist Megan Vossler on the evolution of the Twins uniform (1961-2010) and growing up with a dad in the minor leagues, the author of “The End of BaseballPeter Schilling, and the unofficial blogger (2004-2007) for the Minnesota Twins herself, Batgirl blogger Anne Ursu (now on Twitter!). Also featuring artwork by Kristina Fong & Sally Mars.

The weather looks YUK but we’re playing in a covered stadium tonight so come on down to the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater and check out the unexpected artistic side of America’s favorite pastime.
